Heath Gledhill joins fellow built environment leaders at Australia's Parliament House
Heath marks first week as AILA President with forum at Parliament House
In his first week as National President and Chair of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), Heath joined Institute Presidents Adam Haddow (AIA) and Emma Riley (PIA) at Parliament House in Canberra for the launch of the Parliamentary Friends of Urban Design — a multi-partisan forum connecting federal parliamentarians with leaders in Australia’s built environment. This initiative underscores the critical role that thoughtful urban design plays in shaping our cities, regions and communities.
The discussions at the forum made it clear that the build environment design industry is at a pivotal juncture and our leadership is more important than ever. Now is the moment to ensure our voice is present and influential in shaping the future.
